It is to my considerable annoyance that

1. The changes to this template aren't showing up, and

2. My Shout Out boxes have gone cuckoo.

Yes, I'm a fussy, fastidious thing. *twitch* That's just me. *twitch twitch* Ok, let's make this fun! Here are a few skin designs I've "shortlisted" for Imaginarium's makeover, Shout Out and give me your opinions! :) Oh how fun. Interactivity at its best. I hope. Now, a chance to show myself just how few people lookie me blog! *grin* Nah, in a sense this is for myself too. Need to brood over it and get completely indecisive. It's fun. Anyway. Enough rambling from me, who's been under self-quarantine the whole day, that is, I didn't set foot outside the house. Alright, just for kicks I accompanied my mum to Serene Centre to drop off my brother and his friends for lunch, but that was a car ride. Nothing doin'. And 6 more days of this?! I'll go insane before then. *_* I have the same Stila nightgown as my mum! ^_^ Fun, we're co-ordinated. Pinky-poo nightshirts with pretty girls on them. Kawaai!!

Anyway. Curtains up, drumroll please! And get that midget off the stage, he's supposed to be at the sideshow booth. :P

Red Motion, from Elementopia!
Black Ink, optional stars, from Blogskins!
You're on Fire, from Blogskins.

My personal preferences lean towards #1 and #2, but somehow I'm not entirely comfy with those skins. They don't seem to convey the feeling of Imaginarium, you know? Imaginarium's not about just imageless boxes and solid fixity, there's something bright, organic and lush about it, and I'm not talkin' shampoo brands here. And I can't seem to find a skin that really encompasses that feeling of the fleeting, sparking, living imagination. Hence the big momma fuss I'm making about this. Wak wak wak. But don't worry Siah, your skin is safe. Wouldn't dream of taking it! I prefer popping stars. ;) I covet your archives box though, you'd best protect it! *evil grin*

The things boredom drives you to do. I just feel like blogging on with no purpose whatsoever. Spent most of today in a bit of a daze. Managed to complete my scheduled portion of studying, will prolly pop some more later just for kicks, hoo hah. Spent at least what, 4 hours on and off yakking on MSN, and thorougly drained my brain of its juices. Watched TV like a spineless sea-slug till dinner, after which I squished over here to stare into the depths of the computer screen and ponder life, love and navel lint. Fun life, could learn to like it. I quite know how my dog feels now, caged up in the yard, with nothing to do except run around, sleep, eat and pee. So I decided to be nice and commiserate with her by actually combing her! That's as much an ordeal for her as it is for me. I yank with the brush, she growls ferociously and I risk being rushed to hospital with rabies. Had to muzzle her in the end...the muzzle is old, we haven't used it on her since her puppyhood and she hates it. Makes her look like an overgrown Hannibal Lecter Chia Pet too. At any rate managed to brush her head, torso, tail and posterior...she simply wouldn't let me touch her paws, kept tucking them under her fat belly. Well, since we attacked her with the brush we figured we might as well clean her ears and trim the fur around her eyes, so my mum and I took turns drowning her ears in peroxide and making random snips at her busy lashes, to avoid having to hold her down and having to listen to her whine sulkily as we wreak havoc with grooming tools. But she looks pretty now! Like a poofy cloud, washed linen on a summer's day. *huggles her* Eeeee!

Yes yes dog dog. Oh yeah, my drama teacher dropped off the scripts at my place last night, and now I've got a full stack of happy bound scripts sitting in my room! :) Getting slowly psyched up, and I eagerly anticipate the start of rehearsals. This'll be fun! :) *Cheers* Even if we have to meet in clean suits and carry oxygen tanks around, it'll still be worth it. Make mine silver with green stripes! *zip*

Hmm. Strangely enough all my Shout Outs are intact, only the indicator "____Shout Outs" seems to be messed up. Was that my doing? Eep. At any rate I swear I did some template formatting with my links, and none of it has shown up at all! X( Rickety old thing. *kicks*

Currently, it's Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, SARS. Just think, what if we called it Sever Acute Respiratory Infection? It'd be SARI! Cool eh? Ok. I've gone totally off it now. Better get myself hence doubla quick. *hences*

Viv wished for the moon @ 7:15 PM

What the...?! All my Shout Outs are gone! *wails* It's been a pretty lousy day, all things considered. Computer acting up and pissing me off. X( Feel like a lion pacing its cage, in smaller and smaller circles till it slowly goes mad...

Summertime
::Ella Fitzgerald::

Summertime, and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high
Oh! Your Daddy's rich and your Ma is good lookin'
So, hush little baby, don't you cry . . .

One of these mornin's you're gonna rise up singin'
Then you'll spread your wings, and you'll take to the sky
But 'till that mornin' there's a nothin' can harm you,
with Daddy and Mammy standin' by . . .

But 'till that mornin' there's a nothin' can harm you,

Bring Me to Life
::Evanescence::

How can you see into my eyes
Like open doors.
Leading you down into my core
Where I've become so numb.

Without a soul
My spirit's sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there and lead it back
Home.

(Wake me up)Wake me up inside.
(Can't Wake Up)Wake me up inside.
(Save me)Call my name and save me from the dark.
(Wake Me up)Bid my blood to run.
(Can't Wake up)Before I come undone.
(Save me)Save me from the nothing I've become.

Now that I know what I'm without
you can't just leave me.
Breathe into me and make me real
Bring me to life.

(Wake me up) Wake me up inside.
Can't wake up)Wake me up inside.
(Save me)Call my name and save me from the dark.
(Wake me up)Bid my blood to run.
(Can't wake up)Before I come undone.
(Save me)Save me from the nothing I've become.
Bring me to life.

I've been living a lie,
There's nothing inside.

Bring me to life.

Frozen inside without your touch,
without your love, darling.
Only you are the life among the dead.

(All of this time,
I can't believe I couldn't see,
Kept in the dark,
But you were there in front of me.)

I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems,
Got to open my eyes to everything.

(Without thought, without voice, without a soul,
Don't let me die here.)

Bring me to life

(Wake me up)Wake me up inside.
(Can't wake up)Wake me up inside.
(Save me)Call my name and save me from the dark.
(Wake me up)Bid my blood to run.
(Can't wake up)Before I come undone.
(Save me)Save me from the nothing I've become.
Bring me to life.

Bring me to life.

Hungryness...stayed up to work on the band concert programme and while I was at it, scanned more of my own thingamajigs. Hurray! :)

Shit I really like this...hot off the sketchbook, was today's labour (yep, I didn't much get round to studying. ;)). Still incomplete but I like it very much cuz it was really an experiment on a number of levels. First, with the amount of shading, the style and the subject matter. For once, no girls! And for once, monsters! Oh yeah. The backstory (somewhat) is that the boy's lost his parents (see top left corner), and he's left in the guardianship of the Golem, see? But this Golem's different, he's got some semblance of feelings and here he's comforting the boy as he grieves for his dead mom and dad. Ain't that sweet? Eeeee! ^_^

And cuz I like it, and I think ballgowns are pretty, and to balance out the massive testosterone the above picture generates,

Was really slack today. Went out for Coffee Bean, among other normal things. Town's pretty deserted nowadays, my brother reported Borders was really empty. Wheeee. Mind snapped, can't think. Wheeeee.

School's Out. Yes, as any self-respecting Singaporean teenager should know by now, owing to concern by the public over the SARS outbreak and the SARS death last night, schools till JC are closed till 6th April. Which has repercussions on quite a few things...our June hols will be eaten into of course...schedules will be thrown off, and adjustments will have to be made. My primary concern is production...will it be pushed back? Are we going to attempt to have any rehearsals till school starts again? I don't know...after the initial euphoria wore off the reality set in. It's not all that great, really. It's pretty grim...and chances are I'm not getting out much the next few days at least. On the upside, a chance to consolidate my work, especially my erstwhile literature syllabus. But methinks Dullsville's ahead...

But times like this you really have to learn to surrender in faith. Learning, learning.

My sole relief is that means no block tests!! :) Just as well, I hadn't finished studying my lit. ^^;; Very mild blessing in disguise. But I have a hunch when we return they'll want to finish what they started...ugh.

Quizzes! Birthday presents to Blog, how fun.

*yawn* Computer taking forever...doodeedoo...

And what's with the Internet! So much for the information superhighway. For one thing it's dead slow, and for another I can't find a bootlegged copy of Neil Simon's Rumours on it! Useless thing, what's the Internet for then?!

I'm terza rima, and I talk and smile.
Where others lock their rhymes and thoughts away
I let mine out, and chatter all the while.

I'm rarely on my own - a wasted day
Is any day that's spent without a friend,
With nothing much to do or hear or say.

I like to be with people, and depend
On company for being entertained;
Which seems a good solution, in the end.
What Poetry Form Are You?

Crap I did this test twice and I'm still a Terza Rima. Never heard of and it don't sound like me!! Gives me a headache too. Anyway...

The other quiz won't work, poo. Oh well. Bleah.

That being said though, I learned a good lesson yesterday. It's a long story, which I don't want to go into; in a way I'm ashamed of how I behaved about it. Anyway my mum pointed out this passage to me today, and I felt the Spirit speak to me. Ability, and gifts are wonderful, blessed yet dangerous things; they breed pride, the complacency that with your own hands you can do anything, and whatever you gain from your acts are yours because you have rights to them, you deserve them. And I just realized how easy it is to forget the fact that everything you have and are, are yours soley through His grace. And even then these things cannot be called your own; they're not really even yours. In His infinite nature they were given to you, out of unmerited grace and compassion, and in the same way they can be taken away, and what can you protest? They always belonged to Him, they belong to Him and always will.

Philippians 2:3-11 (NIV)

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death -- even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Amen.

LD day went well, just for the record. A bit disorganized because we expected 70 people and ended up with 30. It completely messed up our groupings and stations and we had to resort everything. But I'm just glad we HAD an LD day. We look to the incumbent ELDDFS EXCO to tweak it and make it kick butt, okay? Whoever you are!! :)

Then the freaky bit. A worn out Japanese style low table suddenly appeared in the LD room. Which mystifies us all because nobody has access to the LD room except the EXCO (we think), and the few times the juniors went in we supervised. It's likely though, that some of them may know the code on the lock because it's one of the push-button types, where the code can be viewed by God and everybody once the numbers are punched, and it's awfully hard to do discreetly. So it's time we bought a new lock, and we're considering the kind where you have to spin the dial a million and one times in every direction to open it. Secure yes, but I've had a bad experience with that kinda lock. I had one on my locker in RGS and I only learned how to use it on the last day of school when we were told we had to take our locks home. *_* So for the entire year my locker had gone unused because of the lock I couldn't open. Not a good omen at all. But where the hell did that table come from?! Even mysteriouser, there was a heart-shaped butt-print left on it, y'know, the kind you get when you're sweaty and you sit on the basketball court, so that when you get up there's this imprint where your posterior was. Well, this butt-print was like, engrained into the wood, y'know? It never dried off! Crap, that's freaky. Mystifying too, we're all completely baffled. Either way though, it's nice to have extra furniture in the room. We've got a bed (whee, *grin*...at least we're an all-girl's EXCO, it's ok! ;P ), dressing table and might as well have another table, at least it's somewhere to dump our bags. Just have to pray the lizards don't poop on them first. Guano's a perpetual problem in our room, yick.

Curiouser and curiouser! March hols cometh...time to work hard, block tests next week argh. But on the flip side...PRODUCTION! :) Casting list officially out tonight, stay tuned...:) (Yeah yeah, don't point out the obvious. Vivienne already knows the casting, but she's got the "I know something you don't" syndrome and won't say nuthin'. Muahahaha!)

Whoop de doo dah, I have a fat roll around my tummy. :S It became clearly apparent in the Dramafeste photos the photographic society took that night, which I saw this morning. Yep, when I'm sitting hunched on stage, voila! Spare tire visible above the waistband of my jeans. I'm hoping since I was in a black top it was actually some sort of shadow cast, a bad trick of lighting or summat, but after getting over phase of denial, on closer examination I figured it was prolly good old fat. Yep. Looking at the photos below though, it's hard to imagine that in the same outfit with me in a different position I'd be rotund, or at least suffer from the flabby belly syndrome, but there you have it. I suppose I should go easy on the ice cream but I'm resigned to the fact that 1. I just don't lose weight, and 2. Ice cream is goooooooood. Oh well. I shall expand till I'm the size of the Hindenberg, then happily explode. Whee!

ELDDFS Day tomorrow, and we're mini-whirlwinds of activity. So much to do, so little time!! Unless He lays the foundation, those who labour, labour in vain. We've been mega busy and even after this I have to go and script something, and I am pretty anxious for everything to go well...but there comes a point where you have to stop worrying and give it all up to Him. Regardless of how it turns out...all glory goes to Him.

Rumours, a farce.

Hurrah! It's been a year, and college production auditions have come again! *jumps happily* About time, I was getting a terrible withdrawal syndrome. We're likely doing Neil Simon's Rumours, the British Version. I LOVE the play. The roles are excellent! I can't decide which I like. Competition for female roles is tough though, as far as actresses go Mr Perry's spoilt for choice. There are only 4 female characters and 4 main male characters plus a couple of arbitrary police officers. Only 3 guys came to audition, as opposed to 12 girls. And there are still auditionees coming in on Thursday and Friday. Erk! O_O I really really want to be in, but I don't know how the rest of the potentials are like, and which role I like. They're all different yet exciting, they all have some great lines. Decisions decisions...

Production fevah! :) The biggest highlight of me HC experience, it is. :) :) :)

Got the GIC provisional scholarship. More decisions, decisions...this one's somewhat bigger, methinks. Prayer and much research and thought is needed. Me noggin's a-hurtin' *ache* ach...

Damn near sneezed my nose off today. Had the worst leaky nostrils in a long while. *sniffle* Blast!!! *whooping sneeze*

Return to Innocence
::Enigma::

Love - Devotion
Feeling - Emotion

Don't be afraid to be weak
Don't be too proud to be strong
Just look into your heart my friend
That will be the return to yourself
The return to innocence.

If you want, then start to laugh
If you must, then start to cry
Be yourself don't hide
Just believe in destiny.
Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

That's not the beginning of the end
That's the return to yourself
The return to innocence.

Strange spate of cistern incidences too. Yesterday I found our soap bar plus plastic soap dish sunk in the toilet bowl (might've been brother's doing) and decided I'd try to fish out the dish at least...so I flushed to clear the water some before retrieving it, and it ended up sucking soap plus soap dish down into it, never to be seen again. I hope. Erk! Then it gets better...my brother dumped his breadcrusts wrapped in tissue into the bowl this morning. Thoroughly scolded him and made him retrieve the lot, they were clogging up the flush awfully. I hope that's the last of that. Last thing I want is to wake up with my bed floating on a sea of sewage. Ewwwwww.

It's been a strange weekend. *_*

Viv wished for the moon @ 7:46 AM

Yep, confirmed. My dog is a bimbo fluffball. While I was out, according to my brother, the cat wandered into our living room and wouldn't budge, and the dog ran in after it, barking furiously. All the cat did was to arch her back and hiss, and sent Misty scurrying back in the opposite direction. >_< *winces and slaps forehead* Och.

Brother spent whole weekend downloading Monty Python film and MP3 clips. Shit funny! *falls over laughing* "I like Chinese" is by far the funniest.

"Wo ai zhongguo ren...Wo ai zhongguo ren...ni hao ma, ni hao ma, ni hao ma zai jien!"

Now picture a pack of British men singing it. You get the idea. XD

*pout pout* No real SMS-es received today. Feel thoroughly unpopular. *goes off in a sulk*

I realize I'm a much more feminine, lively and bubbly person than I was in secondary school. Either I'm past the angsty phase or I'm just becoming downright bimbotic. Want proof? I've become shockingly receptive to the colour pink, and have started to take joy and looking for amusing hair accessories. Never a good sign. >_< And yes I'm using Nipponized smileys. I find it strange to talk to people I haven't spoken to for years, because I suddenly become conscious of how different I sound and behave. And I wonder what they think. Or do they sense no difference at all?

Can't reflect too long. Have to help mummy make garlic spread for toast. Yum! ^_^

But yes, in other worldly matters. Got B3 for AO Chinese, am satisfied enough. As long as it doesn't affect my scholarship chances I'm not touching that thing with a ten-foot pole no more. Free Friday afternoons, wooooot! *Grins and stretches* Got off at 12.50 today. Ah, glorious no S-paper, no Chinese day! Finally, no annoying 5.10pm days that drive me absolutely cranky.^_^ Whee! Our whole class passed, I'm glad. Feel like burning Chinese file, only it's plastic and will make nasty fumes all over yard. Not good.

ELDDFS Day next saturday, preparations coming along...should pick up the pace real soon. In honour of the excellent A-level results Hwa Chong achieved (more on that later!) we actually get Monday off, a full day holiday which we'll be using to prep for LD Day at my place, making souvenirs and preparing our intro-skit. Like, sorority meeting! Bring the champagne, girlfriends. ;)

Yes, ladies and gents, Hwa Chong actually gave a FULL DAY HOLIDAY for the seniors' results, which ranks HC at the top this year! (on a tangent, VJC came in second and RJC third, haha.*grin* Temasek has been ousted from the top 5 and ACJC is in the ranks. Not half bad.) SOP is to give us half-days to pay off a full day holiday in installments, but I'm glad they got generous this time round. And for 47.9% of the school scoring 4As, that's close to half of the seniors. Our own seniors apparently pulled the college down somewhat though...usually contrary to popular belief the arts faculty has pulled Hwa Chong's rating up, but this time the science faculty surged ahead and brought the whole calibre up. This despite the fact that Barnard said this set of Humanz A-level results are the best in the history of the programme...oh dear. That means we didn't improve enough to keep pace with the college. Wonder how our batch, acknowledged as one of the weaker ones in recent years, will fare...it was sobering, watching the seniors, recognizing our certain fate. We'll be them next year, trooping back filled with apprehension and adrenaline. Then, the moment of truth...and where you go from that point is up to you.

It's always hard to blog about big events like these, there are always a million little details and complications you miss. What else can I say? Some seniors did very well of course, and the lit results were the best ever: 41As and 5Bs...but others who were expected to come out tops didn't quite. Dark horses topped the class, upsets were many and occurred to varying degrees. Mixed bag, somewhat. Hell of a roller coaster day, yesterday was.

Downloaded a Riverdance ringtone. Faith and Begorrah, I'm happay.

Conventionally speaking, (Donald Farfrae) conversed with both Miss (Lucetta) Templeman and her companion (Elizabeth) ; but in fact it was rather that Elizabeth sat invisible in the room. Donald appeared not to see her at all, and answered her wise, homely little remarks with curtly indifferent monosyllables, his looks and faculties hanging on to the woman who could boast of a more Protean variety in her phrases, moods, opinions, and also principles, than could Elizabeth. Lucetta had persisted in dragging her into the circle; but she had remained like an awkward third point which that circle would not touch.

(Elizabeth) bore up against the frosty ache of this treatment, as she had borne up under worse things, and contrived as soon as possible to get out of the inharmonious room without being missed. The Scotchman seemed hardly the same Farfrae who had danced with her, and walked with her,
in a delicate poise between love and friendship -- that period in the history of a love when alone it can be said to be unalloyed with pain.

-- Thomas Hardy: The Mayor of Casterbridge, Chapter XXV

I don't particularly like Hardy, but I find it annoying how true his vision of the world is. How with so few worlds he can nail down the common human experience, down to the very aching nuance that strikes a chord because you know it's true.

*Closes eyes* Unalloyed with pain.

Hiccup. Yawn, blink blearily, look at MAS JC Essay. Damn, I have to finish this...a couple of paragraphs and trimming, that's all! Am completely zoned out though, and a little freaked out by some people. Surprises you how little you know of them sometimes, even when you've seen them your whole life, lived under the same roof as them. Ah well, live and learn. In no frame of mind to contemplate the notion any further. Have just enough brain-juice to see me through MAS essay, I hope.

My love to 'ee.

That does it. I'm either going to have to learn how to use Photoshop properly or pick up some decent HTML. This artistic/internet illiteracy thing is steadily driving me bananas. Bananas. Mm, yum. *scarfs the lot*

I completely forgot that Thamina recorded Galen and I making farting noises in the LT on Friday. For the record I forgot completely that we WERE making fart noises at all. But Thamina sent over the video clip yesterday, I watched it today, and suffered from a whooping laughing fit.*wipes eyes* Geez, that was embarasing. Hoo boy! *grin*

Essay plodding along. Currently at 810 words, how nice. Don't think I can wrap it up in under 1500 words, will have to trim bits and pieces. Deadline Tuesday...still making good time. Now gotta keep it up. Must break this late work habit! *sets jaw* Raaaar!!! Attack!!!!! *charges*

*slips on banana peel*

Retreeeeaaaat! *charges back the other way and runs straight to bed*

Naughty me.

Drifting in the realm of lethargia at present. MAS JC Award Essay coming along insipidly, have no inspiration to write. Can't think either. I'd scan stuff in only we have a new scanner and I have no clue how to use it. So I'm bored. Genuine bona fide bored. Mpglrjkljgltrzzal;jk.

Yeah, same to you too.

On a rather disturbing note, have developed an alarming fondness for techno/dance music. Just downloaded Bomfunk MC's Freestyler and made it my ringtone too. And I've always been a fan of Daft Punk's One More Time. Help!

Girl from Ipanema
::Astrud Gilberto::

Tall and tan
and young and lovely
the girl from Ipanema
goes walking
and when she passes
each one she passes
goes ahhh

When she walks
she's like a samba
that swings so cool
and sways so gently
that when she passes
each one she passes
goes ahhh

Oh, but he watches so sadly
How can he tell her he loves her
Yes, he would give his heart gladly
but each day when she walks to the sea
she looks straight ahead not at he

Tall and tan
and young and lovely
the girl from Ipanema
goes walking
and when she passes
he smiles but she doesn't see
she just doesn't see

Afternoon naps are eeeeevil. >_< Lost a good hour to sleep and now feel like a shrivelled fly, completely lethargic. *drags feet around*

That being said I got stranded the whole morning and the first half of the afternoon in Suntec City by myself. Sounds like a delightful prospect, unless you didn't bring enough homework to occupy yourself while your dad went back to office and left you at first, happily marooned at Coffee Bean with still half an ice blend to go and a math assignment. The other problem comes when it's almost 12, you've finished math, you're getting a growly stomach but there's no sign of dad, and you've got only $1.50 (turned out to be $1.70 but the $0.20 was hidden in my other pocket; I didn't notice it so it doesn't count.), definitely not enough to buy you lunch or indeed anything much in Suntec. Dad says he'll only be back at 2.30, so time to panic. Started wandering aroud at 12.30, got tired of it in an hour, and got a feeling I must have looked half-crazed, hair down and shuffling with two bags (aside from my own backpak, my dad left his bag of newspapers and half a cold baguette in my custody) aimlessly to and fro. Awfully dull experience. I get bored too easily for my own good. Was rescued in due course, thank goodness. But bleah while it lasted. 0_o

There was an audacious marmalade cat in our backyard yesterday. It belongs to one of the neighbours, a sleek feline tabby with rusty stripes. She was near the maid's room, looking into the kitchen and set a couple of dainty feet into the doorway and mewed loudly as she rubbed herself all over the frame. The maid and I watched her for a while, not sure what to do. On one hand, there'd be a cat smell everywhere which would undoubtedly drive Misty crazy. But at the same time there was a strange enchantment; that was the first time something like this had ever happened, and it was a pretty, outrageously complacent cat, and those cats are the most interesting. So I went up to it, petted its head, and she started to nibble at my toenails, which was darnedly strange. Either way we decided out of a sense of duty and responsibility we had to get the cat out, so we stamped rather halfheartedly and made noise and the cat slunk away a few meters. We couldn't evict her so we called out our secret weapon: the dog. The only way to get her from the car porch to the backyard is to mew loudly, and so this we did, so there sounded like a cacaphony of cats in the back. She dashed in, fur flying, looking for cat, and I'd like to think Misty really, really, didn't notice the cat because she made a beeline for me and started jumping for attention. Stupid mutt. Cat bemused. In the end I had to pick Misty up and literally aim her at the cat. Only then she did her job and barked ferociously from the safety of my arms, and got the neighbourhood dogs excited too, and soon barks ensued from the entire street. Cat finally scatted, and Misty finally felt brave enough to struggle down and bark up the fence where she had disappeared. So much for brave watchdog. Bimbo fluffball, she is.

Little adventures... :)

ACHTUNG! THOSE WHO CAME HERE IN SEARCH OF THE "BALI" IMAGE!!!
Please manually type in the URL of the image (http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/

Head in the clouds
Vivienne Wong was hatched on the 12th of June 1985 and hails from Singapore, which contrary to popular belief, is not a colony of Japan. Formerly of Raffles Girls' Primary and Secondary School and then of Hwa Chong Junior College's Humanities Scheme, she is currently readjusting herself to the finer points of academia (read: she hasn't studied in ages and is really overworked) in her 2nd year at Nanyang Technological University Communication Studies. However she is currently spending the semester on the snowy plains of Ithaca College, New York, and lovin' it. Otherwise, she likes talking about herself in the third person, drawing, acting, comics, watching cartoons, eating Italian food, light rock, Irish music, Broadway tunes, acoustic guitar riffs, drawing some more and singing loudly in the bathroom. On the other hand, she dislikes unmotivated people, afternoon naps, the conventional, and people who are either smelly or wearing clothes too tight for them so that they end up bulging. Contactable here.
